Items called “orthotics” can be found in infomercials, retail stores, and even at trade shows. There are three very different types of Orthotic Therapy: custom, customized, and off-the-shelf.
Orthotic therapy is a calculated and responsible approach to optimizing foot function and controlling other causative factors to improve foot health and wellbeing for the long-term. Orthotics are custom-made to control each individual’s painful foot function problems.
The total cost is one hour of consultation and does not include custom orthotics. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists, and cost of complication management; travel, food, and lodging.
