Joint Mobilization Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist Specialized Treatment – 1 hour that includes examination and assessment with related review and treatment recommendations for Joint Mobilization. Physical therapy session that involves applying a force to mimic the gliding that occurs between bones to restore joint play that has been lost due to injury or disease. Mobilizations are used when the range of motion or mobility is lacking. These techniques aid in restoring normal joint range of motion, decrease pain and allow improved ability to resume full activity symptom-free. The therapist works in collaboration with a physician.
The cost includes a one-hour consultation with a specialist. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists, and cost of complication management; travel, food, and lodging.
