Specialty Surgeon Complete Packaged Procedure. Lumbar Dynamic Stabilization Two – Levels, also called flexible or soft stabilization, is a growing area of spine surgery that potentially can reduce some of the problems inherent with metal implants. The procedure stabilizes 2 spinal veertebraes. The flexible portion of the construct limits excessive motion while allowing a degree of mobility. Dynamic stabilization also reduces the load on the spine’s joints (facets) and disc space, which may reduce pain. Treatment cost includes the facility fee, physician’s fee, cost of drugs and any related medical procedures required to administer the plan of care. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists and cost of complication management; travel, food and lodging.
