Hand Disorders Treatment
Occupational Therapist Specialized Consultation – 1-hour session with a therapist with advanced skills in upper quarter rehabilitation. The therapist will work closely with you to increase your overall functioning and independence through the use of a variety of modalities, hands-on treatment, and therapeutic exercises and activities. Individualized consultation to include interventions to restore hand function for those who have had hand surgery, wrist fractures, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, among others, hand arthritis program to restore hand function through joint protection techniques, splints, and exercises and adaptive techniques for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to increase independence.
The therapist is specialized in hand disorders treatment and programs to help people of all ages to improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. Additional sessions in collaboration with physicians available at additional cost. Not included are travel, food, and lodging.
