Asthma Consultation
Consultation with Respiratory Therapist – 1-hour evaluation, treatment program design, and care plan for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Practicing under the direction of a physician, the respiratory therapist provides education on avoidance of trigger factors for their disease, medications and inhaler therapy, and breathing exercises to promote healthy respiratory function.
The total cost includes a one-hour consultation with a specialist. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists, and cost of complication management; travel, food, and lodging.
