It combines at-home oral care by patients with chairside treatments and counseling by dental professionals Preventive dentistry includes at home oral hygiene, fluoride use, diet, regular dental visits, regular screenings and cleaning, annual x-rays and patient education. The total cost includes a one hour consultation with a specialist. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists and cost of complication management; travel, food and lodging.
