Audiologists provide a full range of audiology care, including hearing tests and dispensing of hearing aids. Because ear and balance disorders can have many causes, ear doctors can diagnose and treat any medical condition of the ear. Consultation includes a hearing evaluation. Hearing aids, if required, are not included.
Pediatric hearing evaluation consultation cost includes the facility fee, physician’s fee, related medical procedures, and drugs required to administer the plan of care.
Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists, and cost of complication management; travel, food, and lodging.
