Areas affected can range from the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere. Fat is removed through a tube with suction device. There are several different liposuction devices. Costs are dependent on body area of treatment and liposuction technique. The total cost includes a one hour consultation with a specialist. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists and cost of complication management; travel, food and lodging.
