Mobilizations are used when the range of motion or mobility is lacking. These techniques aid in restoring normal joint range of motion, decrease pain and allow improved ability to resume full activity symptom-free. The therapist works in collaboration with a physician.
The joint mobilization physical treatment cost includes a one-hour consultation with a specialist. Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists, and cost of complication management; travel, food, and lodging.
