Diagnostic tests include nuclear medicine techniques, blood sugar to confirm diabetes mellitus.
Complete blood count to confirm a bacterial infection, electrocardiogram readings to determine heart irregularities.
A screening is a medical test or series used to detect or predict the presence of disease in individuals at risk for disease.
Pap smear is a screening test for the prevention or early detection of cervical cancer.
Diagnostic and/or screening exams are individualized based on examination and assessment of the individual.

The total cost of diagnostic scanning and testing includes a one-hour consultation with a specialist.
Not included are diagnostic studies, consultations with additional specialists, and cost of complication management; travel, food, and lodging.
