Forks in the Journey – Being Prepared is my thought of the day
Life can be very challenging and rewarding at the same time. Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look and live beyond the imperfections.
So why are there forks in our journey? I’ve found that sometimes when things do not go my way, it can be the best thing that ever happened to me. I think we are “created” as we live a crazy adventure called life. We live in the moment.
Life is in every breath. Be adventurous. Be bold. Enjoy the forks in the road.
Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
When you come to a fork in the road, take it. ~ Yogi Berra
Forks in the journey can be the gift to help us to come to the realization that we need to be more prepared for what life brings us or has in store for us. I came across this awesome quote by Dag Hammarskjold and I was amazed how it tied everything together.
The longest journey of any person is the journey inward. ~ Dag Hammarskjold
I’ve realized this is an incredible journey inward, to discover our authentic selves and awaken the greatness that we ALL are. All of us contain much greatness, goodness, intelligence, and beauty inside. It’s a vastness so deep and wide that many never even scratch the surface. Let’s be bold and brave and take the forks in the journey. Let us go where we have not gone before. And let’s go with a smile.
You MUST make it a priority to work on YOUrSELF every day. ~ Lori Moreno
