New research casts doubt that drinking green tea habitually prevents breast cancer
Green tea is a popular drink in China and Japan and studies show that women of Asian countries are less likely to develop breast cancer.
While green tea is loaded with anti-cancer effects, the scientific results are inconsistent. Japanese scientists tested 53,000 women who drank green tea daily.
During the 14 year study, 581 women developed breast cancer despite the number of green teacups they drank each day. The conclusion? The green tea habit isn’t likely to prevent breast cancer.
